Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus last Tuesday, leaving Real Madrid after nine successful seasons both for the club and for him personally.
He deserved a quality tribute from Real Madrid and he got it. His nine seasons in the Spanish capital were full of impressive highlights and goals, so Real Madrid’s video crew had the tools to create something special and that’s precisely what they did.
Ronaldo won four Champions League titles with Real Madrid, four Ballons D’Or and three Golden Boots, including two la Liga titles as well. He also became the club’s best scorer ever and his 451 goals will not be easy to beat for the generations to come.
Cristiano Ronaldo also wrote a farewell letter to the club and its fans and published it on Real Madrid’s official website, saying that “the years I’ve spent at Real Madrid and in the city of Madrid have possibly been amongst the happiest of my life.”
