Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will sign for Juventus as a consultant for the current Director of Football this next October, according to a report from Libertad Digital.

That way, Zidane’s career would change as he would not be a coach anymore. Zidane said during his last press conference with Real Madrid that he would not be coaching this season and it seems that he will keep his promise.

Keep in mind that Zidane played most part of his career for Juventus, although he signed for Real Madrid and kept playing at an elite level until he announced his retirement in 2006. Zidane has always shown love for Juventus and it’s clear that he is keen on accepting a different role than the one he had in Madrid. That way, he would not have as much responsibility while Juventus keep current coach Massimiliano Allegri, who has also done a good job since he took over.
