Valencia fear that their striker Rodrigo Moreno could be on Real Madrid’s radar to upgrade the offensive line this summer, according to reports from AS, MARCA and Las Provincias. The club would only sell Rodrigo for €80 million yet they believe someone could reach that kind of offer, even Madrid, per that same report.

Rodrigo is coming off his first really successful season in La Liga. Valencia would like to keep him but it’d be impossible for them to say no to such a big offer when they were keen on letting the attacker go just a year ago. Still, €80 million seems to be way too much for Rodrigo, considering that he scored 16 goals last season.

New Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui is a big fan of Rodrigo’s game and included the attacker in Spain’s list for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Knowing that Los Blancos appear to have decided that they won’t sign a big star this summer, Rodrigo might indeed be a target for them, although not if they really need to spend €80 million.
