Future Real Madrid player Rodrygo Goes completed a brilliant performance for Santos against Flamengo in the Brazilian Serie A league. The attacker played on the right wing and showed that he can be more than just a striker by delivering the assist in Santos’ equalizer.

It definitely looks like Rodrygo can dribble. Defensive systems might not allow those plays in Europe, but he has the skills and the pace to be a very useful player on both wings.
“People like to talk but the skillful player does things without thinking much, you just don’t plan for every play. I improvised and managed to get away from the defenders in order to deliver the assist,” said Rodrygo after the game.
The young attacker will not join Real Madrid until the summer of 2019, so he will spend next season in Brazil trying to gain more experience and keep developing as a player.
