Real Madrid face Manchester United in what will be the first game of a new era for Los Blancos. Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane are no longer with the club and new coach Julen Lopetegui will have to find a way to replace the Portuguese star with the player he already has, given that it seems that Madrid won’t sign a star this summer.
While Lopetegui accepts this situation and embraces it saying that it’s “an exciting challenge to create a competitive team without Ronaldo,” Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho is complaining about the lack of moves made by his club. “I gave the front office five names and nobody’s come,” said Mourinho a few days ago.
Real Madrid will be without most of their International players, so this will be a good chance for players like Llorente, Vallejo, Ceballos, Theo or Vinicius to make a statement and prove that they deserve to be in the squad when the real season begins.
