The first game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals is finally here and it involves two very good teams in France and Uruguay. While France earned a convincing 4-2 win against Argentina through a brilliant performance by Kylian Mbappe, Uruguay showed they are a very solid team with a great defensive system and impressive firepower upfront.

France won’t be allowed to counterattack in this game, so Griezmann will be required to show his playmaking skills. On the other hand, Edinson Cavani appears to be questionable to play after suffering a muscle injury against Portugal, so Uruguay could be without their most powerful striker.

All in all, this match has the ingredients to be a very interesting one between two candidates to win the title. This same part of the bracket features Brazil and Belgium, so whoever wins this match will have to compete hard in order to reach the Final.
