Sergio Ramos joins Real Madrid squad in training

Sergio Ramos rejoined Real Madrid’s squad in Miami. Per Realmadrid.com’s report.

Sergio Ramos completed his first training session with the rest of the team in Miami. After joining the team and having trained on Tuesday alone, the captain joined the group for the morning training session, which took place at the University of Barry facilities. The Andalusian carried out a first part with the team in the gym and then took to the pitch to work on a specific training programme alone.

This means that Ramos could be available soon. The Spanish captain will almost surely be ready to face Atletico de Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup Final alongside Nacho Fernandez or Jesus Vallejo, given that Varane will not rejoin the squad just yet after playing in the World Cup Final.

Once again, Ramos will be expected to lead Real Madrid’s defensive line all season long and his leadership skills will be more important than ever now that Cristiano Ronaldo has left the team.
