Luka Modric to Inter Rumors:

According to Melchor Ruiz of Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, Florentino has told those close to him that anyone interested in Luka Modric will be directed to his €750 million release clause. All rumors have come from Italy with Inter Milan linked heavily. There may be genuine interest from Modric given the growing influence of Croatians at Inter Milan (Perisic, Brozovic, and now Vrsaljko). Couple that with the departure of both Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane signaling an end of a cycle at Madrid, Modric May think now is the right time. Unless the soon to be 33-year-old looks to force a move, a transfer is unlikely given his love affair with the city, club, teammates, fans and Florentino’s position. This rumor may not have many more legs to stand on.

Fulham Interested in Taking Theo on Loan:

According to Marca, Theo has garnered a lot of interest from Premier League clubs including Fulham who are willing to pay his full salary + €2M. Theo’s expected destination, Real Sociedad, only want to pay part of his salary. Given the offer from Fulham and other Premier League clubs, Madrid want La Real to pay Theo’s salary in full. Despite the interest from abroad a deal between Real Sociedad and Real Madrid is more likely. The two clubs share a good relationship and Theo’s preference is to stay in La Liga.
