Real Madrid published that Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has been sent to Leganes on a loan deal which will expire next summer.

Real Madrid C. F. and C. D. Leganés have reached an agreement over the loan of Andriy Lunin for the current campaign, in a deal running until 30 June 2019.

Lunin should have a chance to start for Leganes all season long so he might gain some valuable experience in La Liga. This is a good move for Real Madrid to get a better feeling of Lunin’s quality between the sticks.

Los Blancos still have four goalkeepers on their roster right now, so unless Luca Zidane becomes a Castilla player for good, they will have to get rid of either Casilla or Zidane himself to get three keepers on the squad.

Rumors said that Casilla was getting interest from other clubs in La Liga, but it seems that they are not willing to match the salary he is getting in Madrid, so he might stay as the third goalkeeper this season.
