“The player is seriously considering leaving Real Madrid. He wants to sign his last big contract and is facing pressure from his agents. Real Madrid don’t have any kind of verbal agreement in which they’d have to let Modric go. They are not taking Inter’s offer seriously as it’d break Financial Fair Play,” tweet Sanchez last night.

All in all, this’d mean that Modric wants to increase his wages after his brilliant performances in the World Cup. Madrid might not be willing to give him a new deal and that’s why Modric is considering a move away from the Spanish capital.
Real Madrid will not let Modric go without a big offer, but if the midfielder is willing to force his way out of the club they will face some pressure.
