Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola has not made his debut for the club just yet, and while he entered the season with a muscle injury he needed to take care of, he’s missed the last few games when he was ready to play. The young player is looking forward to making his debut and says that doing so at San Mames “would be special.”
“It’d be special, but it’d be equally special to do it in any given field when you’re making your debut for Real Madrid. Julen knows I’m ready because I took advantage of this FIFA break to get in good shape. I’m ready,” said Carvajal’s backup.
Odriozola completed a brilliant season for Real Sociedad last year and that’s why Real Madrid decided to pay his €40 million release clause. He’s young and has a bright future ahead of him, although it will be important for him to get as many relevant minutes as possible this season so that he can develop and grow into the player he can be.
