Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal talked to Movistar Vamos in an interview this Monday and shared his thoughts on some of the topics surrounding the club.
“Lopetegui is the one making the decisions about Vinicius. He’s very good and also a very young player. He can be one of the greatest and I think Madrid are doing a good job with him, because he needs minutes and he’s playing consistently for Castilla,” said Carvajal.
The defender also talked about his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored his first goals for Juventus this past weekend.
“It was only a matter of time. We will keep being the family we were before and that was the main reason behind our success these past few years. He’s a club legend, I totally understand the questions about him,” he explained.
Real Madrid will play their opening game of the 2018-19 edition of the Champions League this Wednesday against Roma.
“Nobody expected us to win the second and third consecutive titles and we made it, we will try to win another,” concluded Carvajal.
