Real Madrid host Espanyol and some players will be hoping to make their debut with Los Blancos tonight. Vinicius Jr. was included on Lopetegui’s list and Alvaro Odriozola appears to be ready to start now that Carvajal isn’t available.

This should be a manageable game for Los Blancos but they will also need to take the game seriously as they dropped many points at the Bernabeu last season. Lopetegui’s men will travel to Sevilla to face Ever Banega and Co. next Wednesday, so the Spanish coach could give some of the starters a rest against Espanyol just so that they can be ready for that tougher game next week.

All in all, Madrid regained some confidence and momentum after their 1-1 draw at San Mames last weekend with a solid 3-0 win against Roma, so they will surely try to keep it going by completing a convincing performance and earning the three points on Espanyol’s visit.
