Sevilla vs Real Madrid: Match Thread

I know everyone still wants to argue about whether or not Luka Modric deserved to win the FIFA Player of the Year Award (note: he did), but it’s time to focus on something else (thank God). A mid-week league game! YAY!

Real Madrid takes on Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan for an ill-timed mid-week fixture just three days before we take on Atletico in the Madrid derby. But, one game at a time, am I right? While Sevilla haven’t started their league campaign particularly strong, Real Madrid have a host of injuries to deal with.

Let this live thread be fun, lively, and respectful, and let’s hope that Real Madrid come out of this tricky away fixture with three points and no additional injuries or suspensions. We are tied on points with Barcelona for first place and it will be nice if we can get another tough road match under our belts.
