Real Madrid visit Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan only three days ahead of the Madrid Derby against Atletico de Madrid. Los Blancos will be without Dani Carvajal and Isco and they will need a solid performance from the starters if they want to earn the three points against a quality Sevilla side.

Lopetegui has implemented a possession-oriented style of football but Real Madrid are struggling when it comes to converting their chances. They manage to dominate the tempo of the game but the playmakers need to be a bit more incisive to turn that dominance into goals.

Sevilla obtained an impressive 2-6 win against Levante this past weekend, so they will have the confidence needed to make things difficult for Real Madrid, who struggled against Bilbao’s pressing two weeks ago. Sevilla seem to have the recipe for success if they follow Bilbao’s plan, so it will be interesting to see if Madrid actually learned something from that 1-1 draw.
