Real Madrid published a medical report on attacker Mariano Diaz.
After the tests carried out on our player Mariano by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an irritation of the sciatic nerve. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

Mariano has not been a relevant player for coach Santiago Solari even though he was expected to have meaningful minutes as Karim Benzema’s backup. Mariano has not made the team’s squad list lately and it looks like he’s not in the rotation right now.
Still, this injury hurts Madrid’s depth as Los Blancos will be playing the Copa del Rey in January and Mariano would have been a valuable asset to give Benzema some rest in the tie against Leganes.
Mariano could miss ten days with this injury if everything goes according to plan, although Madrid will not rush him back knowing that right now they don’t need him.
