Real Madrid visit Betis this Sunday fighting to bounce back from their disappointing results in La Liga. Betis have been playing extremely well this season and will be a tough matchup for Solari’s men, especially considering that Madrid will be without Bale, Asensio and Lucas Vazquez upfront.
If Solari doesn’t trust Isco, he will be forced to start Brahim Diaz and Vinicius alongside Karim Benzema. Both Brahim and Vinicius lack the experience to dominate a football match right now but they do have the quality to counterattack effectively, so Solari might decide to play defensive against Quique Setien’s possession-oriented style.
Madrid have been poor lately and Solari’s job could be in jeopardy if he can’t get the win here, even if Madrid don’t have candidates to replace him right now. Keylor Navas will be getting the chance to feature in the starting lineup once again now that Courtois is still injured.
