Real Madrid vs Sevilla: Match Thread

Real Madrid head to Sevilla in another must-win league game. Solari has made the decision to once again not start Isco (clearly fat) or Marcelo (obviously the reason we have been having a terrible season), so Real should win this game easily and while playing beautiful football!

Courtois is between the sticks which is a bit of a relief after learning our other main man, Navas, picked up an injury in training this week. I know we say it every year but, is this normal? Why so many injuries? It really feels like more than normal at the moment. Maybe it feels exponentially worse because we already had a lack in depth (my opinion) and are in desperate situations for points.

We really, really need a win to start racking up some points, so let’s do this. It won’t be easy against a third place Sevilla, who already embarrassed once with a 3-0 drubbing. If we win today we can bump up into third place.

Re-posting the starting XI’s as shared by Lucas:

Real Madrid starting XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Reguilon; Modric, Casemiro, Ceballos; Vazquez, Vinicius, Benzema.

Sevilla starting XI (To Be Confirmed): Vaclik; Gnagnon, Kjaer, Gomez; Banega, Navas, Escudero, Sarabia, Mesa; Ben Yedder, Silva.
