Real Madrid take on Girona in the first leg of the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals. Los Blancos will be taking this domestic competition very seriously given that it seems the most realistic chance for them at winning the title.

Girona should be manageable opposition for Real Madrid if Solari’s men can perform well, given that the Catalans have not been particularly solid in La Liga. Still, Madrid should try their very best to keep a clean sheet in order to have an easier return leg in Montilivi.

Luckily enough for Los Blancos, Toni Kroos and Marcos Llorente are back with the squad while Karim Benzema will also be available even though he was expected to miss some games after breaking his pinky finger during the away match against Betis. All in all, Solari might not rotate his squad all that much given that both Asensio and Bale will return to the squad soon.
