Future Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes, who will join the club this next summer, completed a decisive performance for Brazil U20 in the South American Under-20 Championship. The promising forward won a penalty-kick for his team. After the game, he shared his thoughts on future teammate Vinicius Junior, who is making an impact in Real Madrid already.

“Vini is a big player, he’s a joy to watch and he’s playing like the star he is,” said Rodrygo. “I’ve seen their last few games and I think they’re a great team, but I have to say that I’m focus on my national team,” he added. “I’m not thinking about playing with Vinicius just yet, we’ll have time to think about that,” concluded the young forward.

Real Madrid are very optimistic about Rodrygo’s potential. Some of their scouts even say that his ceiling is higher than Vinicius’, so it will be interesting to see how he develops when he becomes a Madrid player next summer.
