Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Villarreal

Real Madrid published the squad list for Thursday’s match against Villarreal in La Liga.

REAL MADRID LINE UP:

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Courtois.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and Reguilón.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco and Ceballos.

Forwards: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Vinicius.

This is a perfect chance for Casemiro to regain control of the starting spot as the defensive midfielder of this team. He’s been out for weeks and Llorente was completing some remarkable performances, but the Spanish midfielder is now injured and coach Solari will have to rely on Casemiro again.

Other than that, Asensio is still injured and that means that Madrid won’t have much depth upfront. Isco and Vinicius will be the only players who might be able to help the team turn things around if Los Blancos end up needing to score a goal in the last minutes of the game. The defensive line is healthy.
