Real Madrid announce squad for Copa del Rey match against Girona

Real Madrid published their squad list for the upcoming match against Girona in the return leg of the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals, where Los Blancos hold a 4-2 lead on aggregate.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Navas, Courtois and Luca.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Reguilón.

Midfielders: Kroos, Casemiro, Valverde, Llorente, Asensio, Isco and Ceballos.

Attackers: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Vinicius Jr.

Marco Asensio is back with the team after recovering from his injury and that means new signing Brahim Diaz isn’t even on the list now. It’s a bit shocking to see Solari dropping a player after the club decided to spend close to €20 million to sign him this winter when he would’ve been a free agent in June, but it’s also true that he just doesn’t have a role on this roster when everybody’s healthy.

Sergio Ramos is also available even though most reports suggested that he was not going to play in this match.
