Real Madrid have signed former Manchester City playmaker Brahim Diaz, the club officially announced on their website.

Real Madrid and Manchester City have agreed the transfer of player Brahim Diaz, who will stay with the club until June 30th 2025.

After the medical which will take place this Monday, the player will be unveiled at the Bernabeu at 13:30 CEST.

After that, he will talk to the media in the press room and wear the uniform for the first time on the pitch.

Brahim was going to become a free agent this next summer yet Real Madrid decided to spend close to €15 million to bring the player in right now. Brahim is still 18 years old and might lack the experience to contribute for Madrid on a consistent basis, so the fans should not expect to see the player featuring in the starting lineup week in and week out.

Still, he has the potential to become a relevant player in the future, so the coaching staff should be patient and just wait and see if he can develop the way he’s supposed to.
