Solari and his men appear to be done in the race for La Liga title as they are seven points behind Barcelona in the table, but they must take care of business against Real Sociedad as they will be under heavy pressure from their own fans if they don’t.
Gareth Bale is not available and it’s clear that the fans want to see Vinicius Jr, so Solari might as well deploy the Brazilian wonder kid in the starting lineup to see if he can be the spark. That would leave Isco out when he’s probably expecting to start and regain Solari’s trust though, so the coach has a tough decision to make.
Real Madrid need to gain some confidence this month if they don’t want to throw the entire season away. They simply need to play better and create more chances and these games against manageable opponents at the Santiago Bernabeu should be helpful.
