Real Madrid unveiled young Spanish playmaker Brahim Diaz at the Santiago Bernabeu today. Brahim will be wearing number 21 for the club and he signed a contract which will expire in June 2025.

“When I decided to leave Manchester City I only thought about three options. The first was to play for Real Madrid, the second was the play for Real Madrid and the third was to play for Real Madrid,” said the player. “I didn’t want to go anywhere else,” he added.

Brahim was asked about the team’s current situation after the 0-2 loss against Real Sociedad this past Sunday.

“The situation for Real Madrid is that they’ve won three straight Champions League titles and four out of the last five. You can’t question these players because they are elite and I will try to help the team every way I can,” he said.

“I’m ready and looking forward to training and meeting my teammates. This is a big dressing room with some big stars and you have to learn from them. I am ready and minutes will come little by little,” added Brahim.

The player was also asked about his favorite position on the field.

“I am at the coach’s disposal and I’ll be comfortable wherever the coach wants me to play. I don’t like to define myself,” he explained.

When asked about Isco and Asensio, two men he might be competing with, Brahim praised them both.

“Isco and Asensio are two great players, I will be close to them and I will learn from them. I am motivated and looking forward to playing,” concluded the young player.
