Real Madrid published a medical report on starting goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who apparently picked up an injury during Real’s loss to Real Sociedad this past Sunday.
Following tests carried out on our player Thibaut Courtois today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a grade I injury in the left iliac muscle. His recovery will be monitored.

Although this is only a grade I muscle injury which should keep Courtois out only a couple of weeks, it seems that Keylor Navas will have a chance to become a starter again if he performs well enough.
Still, Courtois has been one of the best players for Real Madrid this season and it’s likely that Solari keeps trusting him as soon as he is ready to play again. Expect Courtois to miss the next two weeks, although it’s true that Madrid will not rush him back from this injury and he could spend some more time recovering.
