Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard talked to Belgian newspaper La Dernière Heure and said that he hasn’t had a rough time during his first few months in the club, no matter the criticism he’s received from analysts and some fans alike.
“No, I have not had any tough weeks in Madrid. I know that a lot of people talk about Real Madrid everywhere and that’s why I’m here, but I still don’t speak Spanish so I don’t pay attention to criticism,” joked the winger.
Hazard scored his debut goal for Real Madrid during the last Liga game against Granada at the Santiago Bernabeu. Belgium managed to beat Kazakhstan 2-0 and Hazard also said that he’s happy with the current form of his national team.
“We are always having fun playing football together. It’s true that we had clinched our presence in the UEFA Euro 2020 but this win also shows the atmosphere we have as a group,” added Hazard.
