Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane talked to the press ahead of Saturday’s away match against Mallorca and revealed that his team will be without Toni Kroos, Lucas Vazquez, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.

“Modric won’t be with us, Bale either. Kroos and Vazquez will also miss the game. Things will always happen because we never stop playing games,” said Zidane when asked about the status of his players.

The Frenchman was also asked about The Mirror’s picture of him and Paul Pogba in Dubai.

“It was pure coincidence. He was there and I was there doing this conference about Artificial Intelligence and we talked because we know each other,” explained Zidane.

He also discussed Madrid’s chances of signing the midfielder in the upcoming transfer window.

“Every club has options and every club will make a decision when the window opens,” said the coach without giving away any kind of hint.

The RFEF announced today that El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid has been postponed. The date has not been set yet and Zidane was asked about the matter in today’s press conference.

“We will do as we’re told. If we have to play the match on the 26th we will do that and we will be ready too if the date gets changed. Whatever I say won’t change a thing, we know it might be set to December 7th or December 18th and we will stay ready,” explained the coach.

Zidane also talked about the development of Takefusa Kubo, who is spending the current season with Mallorca on a loan deal.

“He’s getting minutes and that’s good for him, he’s playing well and I’m happy because it was his decision and we had to respect it. I’m happy about what he’s doing with his team,” concluded Zidane.
