Real Madrid will be without key starters Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric when they take on Mallorca this Saturday. Those four players are undisputed starters for Zinedine Zidane, who will now have to make some tough decisions to replace them in Real’s starting lineup. Rodrygo and Brahim made the team’s squad list and could get some minutes, but Zidane will most likely keep them on the bench until the last third of the game if they’re needed.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Odriozola, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco, Vinicius, James, Benzema.
Mallorca predicted XI: Reina; Sastre, Valjent, Raillo, Gámez; Idrissa Baba, Sevilla; Rodriguez, Febas, Lago; Budimir
With Isco finally recovered from the injury which kept him out of Real’s first games of the season, the Spanish midfielder will most likely get a chance to prove himself in the midfield. James has also performed well when given the minutes to deliver and Vinicius could’ve regained his confidence after scoring his first goal of the season against Osasuna.
Even with all the injuries, Zidane’s starting lineup seems fairly predictable, mainly because of his lack of options.
