James Rodriguez and Bale don’t train with the squad, will miss Wednesday’s match against Leganes

Real Madrid will host Leganes this Wednesday and they’ll do so without both James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, who didn’t train with the squad today. James announced on Monday that he became a father a apparently traveled to Colombia to meet his family there. On the other hand, Bale is still recovering from the calf injury he picked up during the last FIFA break and traveled to London to meet with his agent this Monday.

Other than that, Real Madrid have a fairly healthy squad. Modric is back with the team and should be ready to feature in the starting XI, although coach Zinedine Zidane could decide to make some rotations this week given that Los Blancos will play two games in just four days.

The match against Leganes seems the perfect opportunity for players like Militao, Jovic or Mendy to prove their value and show they can compete for a regular spot in the starting lineup.
