Real Madrid host Leganes in what should be a manageable game for Los Blancos, who have had a full week of rest after El Clasico got postponed. Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez will miss the game but Luka Modric is back with the team. Coach Zinedine Zidane could decide to make some rotations given that Madrid face Betis next Saturday as well.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Militao, Mendy, Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Rodrygo, Hazard, Benzema.
Leganes predicted XI: Cuéllar; Rosales, Bustinza, Siovas, Silva; Mesa, Rivera, Recio; Arnaiz, Braithwaite, Carrillo.
Rodrygo Goes seems ready to feature in the starting XI once again, even more so now that Vinicius Jr didn’t make the squad list. Zidane will need to make a decision between Rodrygo and Lucas Vazquez, and while he would usually give Vazquez the nod, he just came back from an injury and Rodrygo seems to be carrying more confidence and momentum.
