Martin Odegaard has had no qualms about playing in La Liga or making the step up to Real Sociedad. He has been the Basque side’s best player and has arguably been the best player in La Liga since the first match-day. He has stamped his authority in every match he’s played this season, showing a remarkable consistency while always showcasing his aesthetically pleasing playing-style and wand of a left foot. He has created the most chances per game and has tied Toni Kroos with most key passes per game for all of La Liga. He’s already contributed to La Real’s bottom line with two goals and two assists.
The midfield maestro is now beginning to reap the early rewards and accolades for his tremendous talent. La Liga has named him as the “Player of the Month” for the month of September. He will present his award to his home fans at the Reale Arena in San Sebastian this weekend before taking on Getafe on Sunday.
