The winners of the two Semifinals will play the Final on January 12th.
“To win a title is just enough motivation so that we can get to the competition in the best form we can. We will do our best to face the competition, it’s a privilege to play this Supercup,” said Ramos after the draw.
Real Madrid have not faced Valencia this season. It’s clear that this is a good draw for Los Blancos given that Valencia are quite probably the weakest team out of the four involved in the tournament. The Spanish Supercup is not a very important competition but a potential Final against Barcelona or Atletico could very well have an effect on the team’s confidence for the second half of the season.
