Si vous pensez que je suis terminé, laissez moi jouer pour un des pays pour lequel je suis éligible et nous verrons.
“Noel, I thought you wouldn’t interfere with the coach’s decisions. Keep in mind that it’s only me who will decide when to end my international career. If you think I’m done, let me play with one of the other countries I am eligible for and we’ll see," tweeted Benzema, suggesting that he'd like to play for another country.s
"Benzema is a great player, I have never questioned his quality. At Real Madrid he is proving to be one of the best in his position but his adventure with France is over," said Le Graet to RMC.
The striker has made his debut with France's first team and therefore it would be impossible for him to play for another country, although he's supported Algeria many times in the past as that the country of his parents.
Benzema's absences from the French national team are helping Real Madrid so far as he's having extra rest whenever there's a FIFA break. The striker has led Madrid's offensive line very successfully for the last year and a half.
