Brazil coach Tite talked to the press after their match against Argentina, which was Rodrygo’s debut with his country. The attacker joined the game in the 70th minute and didn’t make much of an impact as Brazil didn’t rely on him to make plays, but Rodrygo will surely be one of Brazil’s star players in the future.
“Rodrygo is a extremely young player who will have a nice career with Brazil,” said Tite after Rodrygo’s debut.
The coach was asked about Rodrygo not being involved in the play during the 20 minutes he featured in the match.
“I moved him from the left side and he started playing a bit through the center after Lodi entered the game. Then most of our play went through Lodi,” explained Tite.
Brazil will face South Korea next Tuesday and Rodrygo could very well feature in the starting XI so that he can gain more confidence with the first team.
