James had missed the last month with a muscle injury but was healthy enough to travel to play with his country. Now, he will be out for Real Madrid for the next three or four weeks and while he was out of the rotation his good start to the 2019-2020 season was encouraging to see and proved that he could be an interesting player off the bench.

The midfielder could be on his way out of the club next winter if an interesting offer comes Real Madrid’s way.
