Real Madrid host Paris Saint-Germain in the fifth game of the 2019 UEFA Champions League Group Stage. Both teams have all but clinched their presence in the next round of the competition but this match will still be an important one between two candidates to win the European competition.
Los Blancos hit rock bottom the last time they faced the French side in Paris. Zidane’s men lost the game 3-0 even though PSG were without Mbappe, Neymar and Cavani. However, Madrid have improved recently and will surely try to make a statement now that PSG’s powerful attacking trio is back.
Zidane and his coaching staff have a healthy squad at their disposal. Marco Asensio, Nacho and Lucas Vazquez are the only three injured players on Real Madrid’s roster, which means that Gareth Bale and Rodrygo will compete for the starting spot on the right wing. The promising Brazilian attacker got the nod against Real Sociedad this Saturday but Bale completed a better performance off the bench. Will he start even after the whistles he heard from the home fans? Don’t miss it!
