Real Madrid have published a medical report on attacker Eden Hazard, who had to leave Tuesday’s match against Paris Saint-Germain with what appeared to be an ankle injury.

Tras las pruebas realizadas a nuestro jugador Eden Hazard por los Servicios Médicos del Real Madrid se le ha diagnosticado una contusión perimaleolar externa en su pierna derecha. Pendiente de evolución.

Hazard suffers a contusion, a bruise on his right leg. This is great news for Real Madrid as the winger will only need to miss around a week with this injury, and given that there’s no small fracture involved or any kind of muscle issue, there’s almost no risk of aggravating this injury once he is cleared to play.

Hazard has picked up his form recently and will be ready in time to play El Clasico. In the meantime, it will be interesting to see if coach Zidane decides to give Vinicius Jr. minutes on the left wing.
