Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Alaves

Real Madrid have published their squad list for Saturday’s early match against Alaves —13:00 CEST—.

REAL MADRID SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Ramos, Marcelo, Odriozola and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde and Isco.

Forwards: Benzema, Bale, Jović, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.

Vinicius Jr. is back with the team after missing the last few games and now it looks like he will have a chance to replace Hazard in the starting lineup. Zidane could also choose to deploy Rodrygo Goes on the left wing with Gareth Bale on the right, but Vinicius needs minutes and confidence.

On the other hand, Raphael Varane will also miss the game, which means that Militao will start alongside Ramos in the center of the team’s defensive line.

All in all, it looks like Zidane is ready to give some rest to his starters soon enough. Real Madrid should be considered the favorites to win and take care of business.
