CD Tacon returns to Valdebebas tomorrow morning at 10 AM (Mountain Time) to face Real Betis. The teams are separated by a single point in the standings with Real Betis in 13th place and CD Tacon in 14th. A win tomorrow would mean that we would move up in the standings to 11th place, just behind Sevilla, whereas a tie wouldn’t change our position in the table at all. Both teams are coming off a loss in their last game and the fact that we are so close to Betis in the table could mean that we stand a chance to win.

We may have an opportunity to see one of the five American women in Primera División this game, as well. Emily Dolan (GK) played for Florida Gulf Coast prior to playing in Italy and Poland. She came to Liga Iberdrola just this past season. She and Meline Gerard alternate games and Gerard started in the last match.

This won’t be the only game to keep an eye on, though. Sporting Huelva and Espanyol are in the relegation zone this season, sitting in 15th and 16th place, respectively. Sporting Huelva has 3 points and Espanyol has 1. While the odds of either team winning their games tomorrow are very low, we absolutely need them to tie in order for us to stay out of the bottom two. Espanyol winning and us losing would mean that they would go ahead of us in the table due to a better goal differential.

Since we are playing at home, the game should be available to watch on both Real Madrid TV and Footters.
