UEFA have appointed German referee Felix Zwayer as the man in charge of Wednesday’s Champions League match between Real Madrid and Galatasaray, which will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu —21:00 CEST—.
Zwayer has not officiated a game for Real Madrid in his career but this match should not be tough for him given that Los Blancos are the heavy favorites to win at home.
Zidane’s men managed to get the three points on their visit to Galatasaray’s Ali Sami Yen and while they struggled in that game and needed Courtois to be one of the team’s most notable players, it seems safe to assume that Real Madrid will complete a better performance in front of their fans.
Los Blancos are five points behind PSG in the Group Stage and just two points ahead of Brugge, which means that they still need to collect as many wins as possible in order to avoid late scares which could hurt their chances of making it into the next round of the competition.
