Real Madrid wonder kid Rodrygo Goes, who scored his first hat-trick for the club during the team’s 6-0 win against Galatasaray, talked to the press in the mixed zone and praised teammate Karim Benzema.

“Karim makes everything easier, he’s an amazing player and I’m very happy to play alongside him,” said Rodrygo, who assisted the French attacker for Real’s fourth goal against the Turkish side and then received an assist from Benzema to complete his hat-trick.

The fans at the Santiago Bernabeu sang Rodrygo’s name after the Brazilian attacker scored his second goal. The wonder kid was obviously very happy about it.

“It’s a dream come true to hear the Bernabeu sing my name. I’m happy and it’s a very happy night, but I have to stay calm and be relaxed,” explained a very humble Rodrygo.

The attacker is a very mature player and will keep working hard to remain as Zidane’s main starter on Real’s right wing.

”Everything is going much quicker than what I expected when I arrived at Real Madrid but I’m trying to stay calm and continue working day by day,” concluded Rodrygo.

The young attacker has earned his chance to feature in Real Madrid’s starting lineup on a consistent basis, at least until Gareth Bale comes back from injury, an event which will force Zidane to make a tough decision and choose between the Welshman and Rodrygo.
