Some feel good stories today outside of the Clasico / Champions League draw noise.
Both the Real Madrid football and basketball team came together for their annual Christmas tradition of visiting children’s hospitals and having team dinners.
Coaches from the respective teams, Zinedine Zidane and Pablo Laso, visited Universitario Sanitas La Zarzuela to hand out presents. Meanwhile, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Felipe Reyes and Sergio Llull went to the Hospital Universitario Sanitas La Moraleja bearing gifts.
All in all, with the help of the remaining team members, Real Madrid visited over 800 children across 11 hospitals to provide presents and sign autographs. This is all part of the Real Madrid Foundation’s ‘No Child Without A Present At Christmas” campaign.
Also today: The two teams came together for their annual Christmas lunch at the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabeu. The head table consisted of legends Paco Gento, among others. Florentino Perez made his rounds like the Godfather that he is:
