Every time FC Barcelona and Real Madrid it’s quite possibly the biggest, most important game in the world of football, barring a FIFA World Cup Final every four years. This time, it’s even more crucial, with the two sides even on points after one half of the Liga season gone by.
While there’s a lot of football to be played in the 2019-20 La Liga season, both Barcelona and Real Madrid know that the schedule will be tougher when the Champions League’s Round of 16 and the Copa del Rey kick off, so conceding a lead right before the second half of the season begins is far from ideal.
Madrid will be without Marcelo and Eden Hazard, two undisputed starters when healthy. Arthur and Dembele will also miss the game for Barcelona, who will still have Messi, Suarez and Griezmann leading their dangerous offensive line. Both teams have the players and the tools to win the game, so this should be a thrilling El Clasico.
Don’t miss it!
