Real Madrid have published their squad list for Sunday’s home match against Athletic Bilbao —21:00 CEST—.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Ramos, Varane, Nacho and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Valverde and Isco.

Attackers: Benzema, Bale, Jović, Brahim, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.

No surprises in Real’s squad list. James Rodriguez will miss the game even though he rejoined the squad in training this past week and should be available as soon as he regains some of his form.

Brahim Diaz has been included in the list and could feature, although it’s clear that Bale, Rodrygo and Vinicius are ahead of him in the current rotation. Valverde, Kroos, Modric and Isco will all be expected to start in Zidane’s recent 4-4-2, which has worked fine against quality opponents.

Real Madrid are the heavy favorites to win the game and it will be their last of 2019, so expect them to come out firing on all cylinders to earn the three points.
