Real Madrid have decided that they will not sell midfielder James Rodriguez during the winter transfer window, according to a report from AS.
Los Blancos tried to sell James during the summer but he ended up staying in the Spanish capital and actually completed some good performances when given the chance to play.
The Colombian star hasn’t been available since he picked up a muscle injury during the away match against Galatasaray but is now ready to make his return to the squad after training with his teammates for a few days before the Christmas holidays.
James’ return from injury will give coach Zinedine Zidane another option for his midfield line and even for the starting spot in the right side of Real Madrid’s offense.
Therefore, James will have another chance to prove his worth and show Zidane that he deserves to stay past next summer, when Madrid will be expected to put the player on their transfer block once again.
