Biggest question for today is: Will Zidane make rotations?

Real Madrid host Espanyol in what should be a manageable game for Los Blancos and a good opportunity for Zidane to rest some of his starters ahead of the next two Liga games against Valencia and Barcelona.

It’s also true that Madrid will visit Brugge on Wednesday for a meaningless game in the Champions League, so Zidane could always make rotations in that game if he decides to deploy his best available lineup tonight. Still, it would make sense to rest Casemiro today, given that he is one yellow card away from suspension and would miss the trip to Valencia if he gets booked today.

In the end, Espanyol have been very poor this season and young players like Jovic, Brahim, Militao or Vinicius need minutes, so it will be interesting to see what Zidane decides to do with his starting lineup this week. In any case, this is a game Real Madrid should take care of.
