Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale completed Sunday’s training session with the group and has successfully recovered from a small hamstring injury which kept him out of Real’s home game against Espanyol.
Therefore, Bale will be available when Madrid visit Valencia next Sunday and could even try to be ready for Wednesday’s clash against Brugge in the last game of the Champions League’s Group Stage, although coach Zinedine Zidane will likely keep him out of that game so that he can get ready for Real’s next two Liga games.
Bale has struggled with injuries so far this season but will be expected to feature in Real Madrid’s starting lineup against both Valencia and Barcelona now that Eden Hazard will miss those games with a foot injury. Zidane could also start Rodrygo and Vinicius together but Bale is the most experienced player and quite possibly the safest option for those two tough games.
