Another day, another Champions League Open Thread! Today our cover photo is of Schalke 04, the least hated team out of the four competing today, if I had to take a wild guess.
Both games will once again take place at the same time (3:00 p.m. EST so whatever that means for everyone else). We have Manchester City and their genius/fraud (you pick) coach headed to Germany to take on Schalke. Then, we have a wild game over in the Wanda Metropolitano, where Juventus will take on Atletico Madrid, which I’m sure is the game most will be watching.
Juventus is a strange team for Real Madrid fans. There are many fans who now know follow Juventus more closely as they want to continue to keep on an eye on Ronaldo. There are other fans who still hate Juventus and wish them nothing but failure and heartbreak. That’s me. But, who do we hate more... Juventus or Atletico? Tough call, but I hate Atletico just a bit more. Let’s just make this easy: both teams should lose this match today.
