Real Madrid travel to Valencia today to face Levante at the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia —20:45 CEST—. Los Blancos just published their squad list for the game.
REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Navas, Courtois and Luca.
Defenders: Carvajal, Vallejo, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Reguilón.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Brahim, Asensio, Valverde and Ceballos.
Attackers: Benzema, Bale, Mariano, Lucas Vázquez and Vinicius Jr.
Isco has not been included on the list even though he completed his recovery from a back injury later this week. Solari will have to make a final squad list prior to the game and three men will be cut, with Vallejo, Brahim and Luca Zidane being the most likely candidates.
Real Madrid all but lost their chance to fight for La Liga title when they lost to Girona at home last week and that’s why Solari should prioritize the health of his players in this game. Los Blancos will face Barcelona in a decisive return leg of the Copa del Rey Final next Wednesday and it’d make sense to rest some of the starters tonight in order to have them ready to perform in El Clasico.
